Systems Administrator (Cranford, NJ)

Responsible for the maintenance and upgrade for the Lab Information System (LIS).  Coordinate with offshore development team in different timezone for  enhancements and upgrades. Write and maintain IT procedures for  Pathology labs. Evaluate new IT purchases and maintain lab systems  including troubleshooting and technical support. Maintain backup of IT  equipment and server. Must have knowledge of AP and CP labs work flow.  Must have worked on the HL7 interfaces for Lab systems with other EMRs.  Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering + 5 years of  progressive experience. Skills in SQL Server, .Net, VBScript, HL7,  Oracle, IIS, Windows Server 2003-2008, Sonic Firewall. Experience of  handling or being part of an offshore team. Experience with at least one of the following lab systems: Lab DAQ, Novo Path or Access Genetics.
